ARE YOU THINKING OF DOING BUSINESS WITH BRANDON G. MOLITOR'S PROFESSIONAL HOME SOLUTION LLC CONTRACTING COMPANY?

Stay away! He has a history of: taking money and not completing contracted work, being absent from the job-site, hiring unlicensed subcontractors to perform work which is out of DCRA code compliance, performing work without permits, and not allegedly paying his employees/workers!

While his website indicates his company is bonded, this is false for Washington, DC as he has no bond posted with DCRA. And while he does have Commercial General Liability insurance as required by DCRA, it has a history of denying claims against: contractor liability, fraud involving breach of contract, and construction which is not in compliance with DCRA building codes. What does this mean to you as the consumer? It means you have limited options other than pursuing litigation to receive compensation for his historically lack luster performance. As one Yelp reviewer put it "Look elsewhere for a good contractor" or buyer beware!

See what other negative experiences others have had with Brandon Molitor's Professional Home Solutions:

  • "Communication and reliability has been a constant issue, most of the time there is no response, and when there is an expectation set, the follow-through on the promises are late and lackluster. "

  • "Look elsewhere for a good contractor. Please"

  • "Overall, it just seemed like no one was at the helm and that they charge like a first-class operation and deliver like a third.

Resorts to threatening emails after you file a substantiated claim with DCRA, or attempt to file against his General Liability Insurance.

Brandon has a history of sending correspondences threatening litigation should you criticize his past performance with DCRA, or attempt to seek a claim against his Liability Insurance. Claims which have been monetized and substantiated by other trade professionals, who are considered subject matter experts within their respective fields.

(Professional Home Solutions does NOT have a Home Improvement Contractor License. If it did then it would require Professional Home Solutions to have a Surety Bond posted with the city which would be added protection for you the consumer. Instead Professional Home Solutions has a General Contractor's License which does NOT require a Surety Bond to be posted with the city. This is bad for you the consumer! It means you have little recourse other than litigation if Professional Home Solutions does not complete the work, the craftsmanship is faulty or work is not performed to DCRA code.)

BONDED:

(This is significant to you as the consumer! What is means is that Professional Home Solutions is falsely claiming they are bonded within Washington, DC when they are not and its a fraudulent claim. This makes recouping any financial losses you may have incurred  from Professional Home Solutions difficult. While he does have General Liability Insurance with Ashcraft Associates, they will most likely deny your claim until you have won a civil suit in your favor.)
